3.1 Discussion - Righteousness According to Romans

Q Read the entire letter to the Romans in a standard translation of the Bible as noted in the syllabus. In your textbook, Jesus is Lord, read Chapters 36 and 38–39. Listen to the Lecture “Salvation in Paul's Letters.” Use Bible Study Tools at Bible Study Tools to find one passage in Romans related to “righteousness.” You can search for any of these terms: righteous, righteousness, justify, or justification. Even though these seem to be two word families in English, they are all translations of the same word family in Greek (the language of all of the New Testament writings). To limit your search to Romans, click on the "Book" menu, scroll down, and then select "Romans." Then click on “Find It!” to do your search.

Sinners are plenty and their sins have made them short of being qualified for God’s glory, and unless they redeem themselves in the path of Jesus, they will not be able to redeem themselves in the light of God
